After spending five years studying engineering, I got my bachelor’s degree. I was excited and hopeful as I started my first job in engineering. But soon, I realized the job was nothing like I expected, and I didn’t enjoy it at all. The pay was also very low in my area, which was disappointing after all the hard work I had put in. I knew I couldn’t stay in that job any longer, so I decided to change careers. Over the next two years, I tried different jobs to find what I liked and to earn more money. Today, I’m happy to say I’ve managed to increase my income by ten times with my current job. In today’s economy, it’s important to plan your career wisely to earn the most while working the same hours. The job market in 2024 is very different from the “stable” career paths our parents had.
